A highly experienced real estate executive, John joins from JLL where he was a member of the UK Board and, amongst other responsibilities, had been running its Corporate Services business.
In his 18 years at the company, John has worked across the EMEA market in a number of roles, starting with the Tenant Representation team in Paris and ultimately becoming Managing Director for JLL Central & Eastern Europe, based in Warsaw.
Tim Rodber, CEO of The Instant Group, said: “The last three years have seen us achieve 30% compound growth rates and evolve from what was once a predominantly UK platform into a global services business with significant operations in the key markets of EMEA, the Americas and Asia Pacific.
“Demand for flexible workspace is growing above 15% year-on-year in the UK and at a higher rate across EMEA. For many client occupiers in the region, flexible workspace is the new normal, and this demand is being driven by a range of businesses from SMEs to large, global corporates.
“The rapid growth of the UK and EMEA businesses and the market potential for further expansion means that John’s role is of strategic importance to our future plans.”
“John is a proven business leader, explained Tim Rodber, with an excellent track record of client development and I am confident he will drive similar success for Instant.”
John Duckworth said: “I am joining a company that is already the expert in its field but has so much more opportunity for growth. There is a definite shift in the market towards non-conventional workspace and property solutions. Instant is very well placed to capitalise on this trend.”
John will join Instant in May 2017.
